Maserati has sent for a recall on certain 2014 Quattroporte GTS V8 vehicles. While only 63 units are subject to this announcement, it's still important to get the word out; if you or someone you know drives the vehicle model described above, please read on for more information.

The problem revolves around the wiring harness for the alternator-starter motor. An improper crimp can cause the battery cable to short out and start a fire, so it's very important to respond to the recall. Keep an eye on your mailbox for an official notification from the automaker in the near future.
