Maserati Teases the All-New Maserati MC20 Cielo Convertible in Italy
Recently, Maserati announced the mid-engine MC20 supercar will have a convertible variant. It will be called the ‘Cielo’, or sky in Italian. Like its Coupe sibling, the all-new MC20 Cielo will be built at the Maserati factory near Modena. From what we understand, the new MC20 Cielo will feature an 3.0-liter V6 engine that delivers over 600 horsepower and 530 pound-feet of torque.
Mated to the engine is an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and will propel you from zero to 60 miles per hour in under three seconds. We also expect the top speed to be over 200 miles per hour.
Inside, the interior is fashioned around you, the driver. The cabin features carbon fiber trim along all surfaces, with the ignition button place neatly on steering wheel. Furthermore, the interior will offer a 10.1 touchscreen display to access the various connectivity features.
